Investment Office of Cilegon City held Comparative Study of CSR Program to Batang CFPP

BATANG, 10 NOVEMBER 2017 – The Office of Investment and One Stop Services (DPM PTSP) of Cilegon City visited the CSR business units of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) as the developer of Central Java CFPP 2 x 1,000 MW.
Cilegon City and Batang Regency are both considered to have similarities as regions that are currently continuously developing, especially for the realization of investment in various businesses. This is also a good opportunity for companies that invest to be directly involved in development through the use of each company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

During this visit, DPM PTSP of Cilegon City visited several PT BPI's CSR partners, including Micro Finance Institutions, Micro Enterprise Group (MEG), and village libraries. Currently, BPI has successfully initiated 153 MEGs with 2,305 members. "His business is also increasingly diverse, ranging from food production, handicrafts, services such as laundry and others, to savings and loan cooperatives," said BPI CSR Manager Bhayu Pamungkas.
Acting Head of KPM PTSP Cilegon City, H. Dana Sujaksani revealed that his party made this visit after seeing various BPI CSR achievements so far including in the management of MEGs. "We hope to apply the breakthroughs that have been made, especially for companies in the city of Cilegon," he said.
In addition, as a form of CSR concern in education, BPI also invites SD / MI and SMP students in affected villages such as Ujungnegoro, Karanggeneng and Ponowareng to visit the power plant location. "Apart from providing information about Batang CFPP, through this activity we hope to introduce children to their surrounding environment, including information about various professions that they can live in," said Bhayu.
