Commitment to Health Program, Bhimasena Power Receives Award from the Minister of Health
JAKARTA - The CSR program in the health sector namely Bima Sembada (Clean, Prosperous, Healthy, Empowered Community) PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (PT BPI) won the Mitra Bakti Husada Award in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the Minister of Health Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Dr. Dr. Terawan Agus Putranto, Sp.Rad (K), in a series of 55th National Health Day (HKN) events. The award was received directly by the President Director of PT BPI, Yasuhiro Koide at the Indonesian Ministry of Health Building, Tuesday (12/11).
Minister of Health, Lt. Gen. (ret.) Dr. Dr. Terawan Agus Putranto, Sp.Rad (K) said that the government in the next five years prioritized the development of human resources. Where there are two important matters of concern to the Indonesian Ministry of Health, namely Stunting and National Health Insurance.
"The healthy paradigm, strengthening of promotive and preventive activities such as the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) and the Healthy Indonesia Program with the Family Approach (PIS-PK) are pillars of health development that will continue to be fought for," Terawan Agus Putranto said in his speech.
Meanwhile, recognition and appreciation from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia is one of the proofs of the success of PT BPI in implementing CSR programs in the health sector to the community around the construction project of the Central Java Power Plant 2 x 1,000 MW in Batang Regency. This success cannot be separated from the good support and cooperation between PT BPI, the government and the community of Batang Regency.
PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia's President Director, Yasuhiro Koide is proud of the recognition and appreciation from the central government, through the Ministry of Health. The Bima Sembada Health Program is a CSR partnership program that aims to strengthen village-based health.
"This award is a form of recognition from the Central Government for CSR programs in the health sector that have been run by the company. This award is also a whip for the company to be more serious in running its CSR program, "said Yasuhiro Koide, after receiving the award, Tuesday (12/11).
Further explained, that the Bima Sembada program approach is to integrate the potential of the village in the form of human resources and other village resources through various activities to realize the Active Alert Village. While the programs that have been achieved in the past three years include institutional strengthening through FKD (Village Health Forum), strengthening health through the ODF program, the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS), maternal and child health, and stunting.
On the same occasion, PT BPI's COO, Shiroki Yamashita also received an award for the category of Informatic Company Healthy Living Movement (GERMAS) from the Batang Regency Government, in the National Health Day (HKN) event held at the Batang Regent Office, Tuesday (12/11) ).
