BPI – Pekalongan Regional Manpower Supervision Unit and Batang Regional Task Force Hold OHS Coordination Meeting

BATANG – PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) together with the Pekalongan Regional Manpower Supervision Unit (Satwasker) and the Batang Manpower Office (Disnaker) held a coordination meeting in order to strengthen the improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) performance at Batang Power Plant (8/5). 
 
BPI HSE General Manager Josman Ginting appreciated the presence of officials and ranks of the Pekalongan Regional Satwasker and the Batang Regional Police Department. It is hoped that this meeting will strengthen coordination and cooperation between BPI and the government to improve OHS performance. 
 
"On this occasion, the BPI Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Committee (P2K3), represented by the Chairman of P2K3 Herlan Widodo, explained the performance of OHS at Batang Power Plant for the 2023 period and the 2024 National OHS Month Activities and informed that in the near future they will carry out an Emergency Response Exercise with the Batang Regency Government Fire Bridge Team". We hope that the government can provide inputs that can improve our OHS performance, said Josman Ginting.
 
Meanwhile, the Head of the Pekalongan Regional Satwasker Widiatmo expressed his appreciation for BPI's initiative to always coordinate with the government through Satwasker to improve its OHS performance and this coordination meeting is the second since the BPI period of operation.
 
"BPI as a company that has just been operating has been able and succeeded in implementing OHS well and can be used as a pilot for other companies in Batang Regency and its surroundings," said Widiatmo.
 
BPI is committed to consistently and sustainably paying attention to and implementing the OHS aspect in its entirety. However, it is also committed to the Environmental aspect and the Electricity Safety (K2) aspect to create reliable and safe conditions for installation, safe from danger to humans and other living things, and environmentally friendly.
