BPI 13th Anniversary & National Housing Day Activities: BPI – Disperakim Central Java Province Again Strengthens Cooperation in the Utilization of FABA Batang Power Plant for Unhabitable House Program

Semarang– In order to the 13th Anniversary of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) on July 26, 2024 and coinciding with National Housing Day, BPI and the Central Java Provincial Public Housing and Settlement Areas Office (Disperakim) again strengthened cooperation in Facilitating the Utilization of Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA) Central Java Power Plant 2 x 1,000 MW (Batang Power Plant) by signing an amendment to the Cooperation Agreement at Ciputra Mall,  Semarang (24/7).

 
BPI Chief Operating Officer Yoshimitsu Fujii said that the company supports the joint commitment with the Disperakim of Central Java Province in supporting the acceleration of the program to improve livable and affordable houses in Central Java.
 
"Thank you for the appreciation and trust of the Central Java Provincial Government and all parties for their support for the Batang Power Plant in the FABA management and utilization program," said Yoshimitsu Fujii.
Regional Secretary of the Central Java Provincial Government Sumarno in his speech conveyed that today's activity in the framework of HAPERNAS at the Central Java Provincial Level as well as the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Central Java Province is expected to further realize affordable livable houses for the people of Central Java.
 
"I thank BPI and hope that with the signing of the MOU and cooperation with every stakeholder, we can accelerate the achievement of the welfare of the people of Central Java," said Sumarno.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Disperakim of Central Java Province, Arief Djatmiko, said that the signing of the PKS amendment is a form of strengthening collaboration to realize Affordable Liveable Houses for the People of Central Java.
"Thank you to BPI as one of the operating companies in Central Java Province who always supports the Government in realizing Affordable Livable Houses for the People of Central Java," said Arief Djatmiko.
 
In addition to collaborating with the Central Java Provincial Government, from 2019 to mid-2024, BPI through the CSR program has collaborated with the Batang Regency Government by supporting the construction of 62 units of Unhabitable House in 4 villages, namely Karanggeneng Village, Ponowaeng Village, Ujungnegoro Village and Wonokerso Village.
