Welcoming The Youth Pledge Day, BPI Presents “BEST Class” at SMK N 1 Kandeman

Bhimasena Power – Batang Power Plant, - PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) fulfilled the invitation as a guest teacher for students of SMK N 1 Kandeman on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. This activity is in line with the BEST (BPI Experience, Sharing and Teaching) Class Batang Power Plant activity, which is a forum to introduce Batang Power Plant to be closer to the community.
 
This activity was attended by dozens of students majoring in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) and accompanying teachers. The students were invited to dive into various aspects of Batang Power Plant operations, starting from the introduction of the company profile, advanced and environmentally friendly ultrasuper-critical technology, environmental management and monitoring efforts, to the social and environmental responsibility programs implemented.
 
Vice Principal of Public Relations and Industrial Relations, Roni Wijayanto, appreciated that BPI with the BEST Class program, students of SMK N 1 Kandeman have the opportunity to learn directly with expert staff assigned from the company, so as to broaden their horizons and knowledge.
 
“This activity aims to fulfill the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) which provides opportunities for students to learn about important issues around them, in this case we present BPI where the fields taught are in accordance with the majors in our school, namely Engineering,” said Roni Wijayanto.
 
Manager External Relations of BPI, Bagus Dona Doni, representing BPI's General Manager Stakeholder Relations, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro explained that BEST Class is an access for students to get a closer look at one of the largest power plants in Southeast Asia which is close to their school and hopes that students can take advantage of this activity by actively asking questions and absorbing every material provided.
 
“This activity, which coincides with welcoming the momentum of The Youth Pledge Day, is the company's contribution in improving the quality of education by providing experience, insight and knowledge as added value for students around the Batang Power Plant,” Bagus Dona Doni explained. (*)
