Bhimasena Lentera Social Distributes Food Aid to Flood Victims in Batang
Bhimasena Power, PLTU Batang - PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) distributed food aid to the Public Kitchen at the Batang Regency Social Service on Friday, January 24, 2025, to be distributed to those affected by floods in Batang Regency, especially in Klidang and North Karangasem Villages.
Through the Bhimasena Lentera Social Program, which is a CSR program in the social, cultural, and environmental fields, it is a form of the company's commitment to be present and care for the social conditions of the community.
BPI Chief Operating Officer Yoshimitsu Fujii revealed that this assistance was given to residents affected by the flood, especially residents who are neighbors and adjacent to the Batang Power Plant 2 x 1,000 MW.
"We hope that this assistance can ease the burden on residents affected by the flood disaster due to very high rainfall," concluded Yoshimitsu Fujii.
Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Batang Dra. Lani Dwi Rejeki through the Head of the Batang Regency Social Service, Willopo, AP. MM said that the assistance from PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia is very meaningful for the people affected by the disaster, for this food and non-food assistance will be managed properly and distributed to the disaster victims.
