Commemorating National OHS Month, Batang Power Plant Holds a Series of Activities

Bhimasena Power, PLTU Batang – At the peak of the commemoration of the National Occupational Health and Safety Month (K3), PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) held a blood donation in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Batang at the Batang Power Plant Administration Office on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Various activities from January to February 2025 have been carried out with the theme "Strengthening the Capacity of Human Resources in Supporting the Implementation of the OHS Management System to Improve Productivity," which was attended by all employees and contractors to increase awareness, recognition, appreciation, and practice of occupational safety and health.
BPI Health Safety Environment (HSE) General Manager Josman Ginting said that the commemoration of OHS Month is in line with the company's values that prioritize the importance of safety. Through various activities such as healthy gymnastics together, virtual running and cycling competitions, Basic Fire Training and Basic Life Support Training, occupational safety seminars with the theme " Building a Strong OHS Culture to Achieve Zero Work Accidents" and also this time in collaboration with SMC Telogorejo Hospital at an occupational health seminar with the theme "Early Detection and Latest Management of Diseases Coronary Heart, Between Facts and Hoaxes" and blood donation activities in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross – Batang.
"We are very concerned about the safety and health of our employees and contractors, as they are the most valuable asset for the company and we look forward to the blood donation activities organized today can increase blood stocks at PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) and help save the lives of patients who need blood transfusions," said Josman Ginting.
